There are only about 100 open orders in the pool right now…FROM ALL LEVELS COMBINED! That’s by far the lowest number of available orders I’ve ever seen on there.
It seems like Textbroker has really been slowing down a lot the past couple of months. I wonder if that has to do with Google updates de-valuing low quality articles (i.e. the kind of articles that are commonly produced by TB writers). Or maybe there are simply other companies coming along and offering a better product or better rate.
Have competitors lured Textbroker’s writers away with higher commissions? I’ve found better pay rates at Writer Access and Interact Media, and the systems there work pretty much the same as TB…no bidding, guaranteed pay, easy process, etc. So maybe more and more writers are simply jumping ship.
Textbroker did issue emails to their clients (I’m a client too, not just a writer) stating that rates were going to be increasing, and I would hope that some of that increase would be passed on to the writers. But maybe it’s a little too late.
Is Textbroker.com on the way out? Are they dying? Going out of business?
I’m starting to wonder…
